How to Get from PUJ or SDQ to Melia Caribe Beach Resort
Melia Caribe Beach Resort sits in the Bávaro Beach area, one of the most popular hotel zones in Punta Cana. From PUJ, the transfer takes about 20–30 minutes depending on traffic and your exact lane through the airport.
The resort is large — it has two sections, The Level (adults) and the main family area. When booking your transfer, confirm which entrance you need so your driver can drop you at the right lobby.
From SDQ, expect roughly 2.5 to 3 hours by road. This is a standard long-distance transfer with no unusual complications — the highway is well-maintained the entire route.
Families traveling with young children will appreciate a private vehicle for the extra space and the ability to stop if needed. The resort also has early check-in options that can be pre-arranged, so coordinating your arrival time matters.
One practical note: the Melia Caribe area has multiple resort entrances nearby. Make sure your driver has the full address or uses the property name plus Bávaro to avoid being redirected to a neighboring hotel.
