How to Get from PUJ or SDQ to Sanctuary Cap Cana
Sanctuary Cap Cana is a boutique, adults-only resort tucked inside the gated Cap Cana community. It's small, quiet, and intentionally low-profile — which is exactly why guests choose it.
From PUJ (Punta Cana International Airport), the drive takes approximately 20–30 minutes via the coastal road. A private transfer is the standard choice for this property — the Cap Cana entrance has a security checkpoint, and your driver will handle the entry process.
From SDQ (Las Américas Airport in Santo Domingo), the drive is about 2.5 to 3 hours. The highway is comfortable and well-maintained, but the trip is long enough that stopping for water or a snack mid-route is worth it.
On arrival, the Sanctuary team typically meets guests at the lobby. Your driver will drop you directly at the entrance — no terminal navigation, no luggage carousels, no second guessing.
If you're traveling as a couple for a honeymoon or anniversary, a private vehicle with advance coordination is the smoothest way to start that trip.
